Behind the lyrics
We have a strong desire to end the album by communicating God’s restoration. We have prayed a lot about this and it became a song of healing. We believe that God wants to restore all areas of our lives. When creating this song, we came to the conclusion that healing is nothing we can achieve spiritually in our own power. It’s all about what Christ did on the cross. We know that the subject of healing can be sensitive because there are many who have sought healing for many years and not been physically healed. Although we don’t understand the reason, we know that God is faithful and His promises to us eternal. Therefore, we have every reason to continue to be hopeful and have faith for healing. The last sentence in the lyrics is not about performing and deserving, but about lifting our eyes to see what is heavenly more than the difficulties.
There is a place for acting on our faith but there is no magic formula. Our restoration comes from what Christ already has done for us. Expect the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
